“Tallinn Architecture Biennale 2024: Resources for the Future, Centers of Material Culture and Social Power” article in Pragmatika

The first Tallinn Architecture Biennale with the theme “Landscape Urbanism” was held at the Estonian Museum of Architecture in 2011. Since then, the biennial festival has explored a variety of topics, from self-driving cars and Soviet-era socialist architecture to beauty and food. Thus, TAB reflects the common concerns of architects and urban planners around the world.

TAB24 was no exception: the seventh biennial organized by the Estonian Center of Architecture under the curatorship of Ukrainian architect Angelina Starkova together with co-curators Daniel A. Walker and Jaan Kuusemets, explores the role of architectural resources in shaping the modern approach to construction.

“Although the main focus is on the local context, the exhibition will have a global perspective and a call to action,” say the organizers of the biennale.
